| DTC 1-4: | Short to Power in Driver's Airbag Inflator |
Special Tools Required
SRS inflator simulator( 07SAZ-TB4011A)
Erase the DTC memory.
| 2. | Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off. Does the SRS indicator stay on? YES - Go to Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures. |
| 3. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for 3 minutes. |
| 4. | Disconnect the D1i connector from the D1o connector (A). replace the driver's airbag.n |
| 9. | Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for 3 minutes. |
| 10. | Disconnect the U1o connector (A) from the SRS unit. Do not disconnect SRS simulator lead F from cable reel 4P connector. Replace the cable reel.n |
