DTC Troubleshooting: P0132 (1)
DTC P0132: | Primary HO2S (Sensor 1) Circuit High Voltage |
1. | Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
|
2. | Do the DTC CLEAR in the CLEAR MENU with the HDS.
|
3. | Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min-1) with no load (in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
|
4. | Check the O2S in the DATA LIST with the HDS at the engine speed 3,000 rpm (min-1).
Does the voltage stay at 1.0 V or more?
YES - Go to Connect the ECM test harness and the test pin box to the wire harness only, not to the ECM.

12. | Check for continuity between test pin box terminals No. 61 and No. 76.
Is there continuity?
YES - Go to Do the ETCS learn procedure.

22. | Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min-1) with no load (in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
|
23. | Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES - If DTC P0132 is indicated, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the primary HO2S (Sensor 1) and the ECM, then go to Substitute a known-good ECM.

25. | Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min-1) with no load (in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.

26. | Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?
YES - If DTC P0132 is indicated, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the primary HO2S (Sensor 1) and the ECM, then go to Replace the original ECM.n |
