DTC P1886: | Problem in CVT Driven Pulley Speed Sensor Circuit |
NOTE: Record all freeze data before you troubleshoot.
1. | Check whether the DTC for manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is indicated. Is the DTC for MAP sensor indicated? YES - Perform the MAP sensor troubleshooting, and recheck for DTC P1886 after troubleshooting. NO - Go to Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or subsutitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/ indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.n NO - Replace the CVT driven pulley speed sensor.n |
20. | Measure the voltage between PCM connector terminals A21 and A23 or A24. Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or subsutitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/ indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.n |
25. | Measure the voltage between PCM connector terminals C15 and A23 or A24. Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or subsutitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/ indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.n |
