Headliner Removal/Installation
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.
- Take care not to bend and scratch the headliner.
- Be careful not to damage the dashboard and other interior trim.

2. | From both sides, remove the caps (A), and remove the self-tapping ET screws, then remove the sunvisor (A) and holder (B).

3. | Remove the caps (A). Remove the self-tapping ET screws, then remove the grab handle (B). Remove the remaining grab handles.

4. | Remove the headliner (A).
Remove the upper portion of the remaining center pillar trim (B) and quarter pillar trim (C).
-2 | Release the clips (D) from the headliner.
| -3 | Remove the remaining front door opening trim (E) and rear door opening trim (F) from each roof portion.
| -4 | With sunroof: Remove the socket plug (G). With the help of an assistant, detach the clips (H), and release the fasteners (I), by pulling the front portion of the headliner down.
| -5 | Lower the headliner.
| -6 | Without sunroof: Remove the cushion tape (J), then remove the interior wire harness (K) from the headliner.

5. | Remove the headliner through the tailgate opening.

6. | If necessary, detach the hooks (A), then remove the front roof side pad (B) and rear roof side pad (C).

7. | Install the headliner in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- When reinstalling the headliner through the tailgate opening, be careful not to fold or bend it. Also, be careful not to scratch the body.
- Replace any damaged clips, and replace the cushion tape.
- If the threads on a sunvisor and grab handle mounting screw are worn out, use an oversized self-tapping ET screw made specifically for this application.
- Check that both sides of the headliner are securely attached to the trim.
